Welcome to Duelists Elite and thank you for your interest in our Guild I am Duelist_DE, GuildMaster for Duelists Elite. Duelists Elite is a Guild for RoleMasters:MageStorm on the Gaming service Gamestorm at http://www.gamestorm.com. Duelists Elite is comprised of individuals who through their words and actions have shown themselves to be honorable. Duelists Elite members shouldn't merely follow rules of acceptabiltity. Duelist Elite members should aspire to set the standards of honor and fair play in the game. Duelists Elite Memebers should be proud to have their _DE tag and should always aspire to do the best they can and still have a great deal of fun. Here at Duelists Elite I believe that the most important thing is a good attitude, not great skill at the game. A great attitude comes from your heart, either you have it or you don't. Skill can be taught to anyone with a good attitude and a willingness to learn. Several of our members were chosen by the Guildmaster for membership based only on their attitude in the games I shared with them. All our members are equally important in Duelists Elite, they have all given something to the Guild. The guild works around several sets of Policies and Protocals. They are presented as follows:

The Chain of Command

Guildmaster-Duelist_DE

The GuildMaster is responsible for all contact with tourney officials. The GuildMaster will set new rules and make all final guild decisions. Also the GuildMaster will decide upon the consist of the "Dishonored" list. All decisions made by the GuildMaster are final though he may allow discussion and reconsiderations to be made.

Assitant Guild Master-Freud_DE

The GuildMasters Assistant is responsible in the GuildMasters absence. He may make decisons which will be official if the GuildMaster is not present, until the GuildMaster can review the problem his decision will stand unopposed. Also the Assistant shall take administrative charge over the Guild. Therefor he will check in on all participants in tourneys and shall maintain the mailing list for the Guild. He has all powers of the guild master, except the power to boot members. Other duties will be given as needed by the GuildMaster.

Webmaster-MWI

The webmaster is responsible for keeping and maintaining the guild webpage. He is to post news and update the roster as updates come in.

Guild Relations-Swep_DE, Kurupt_DE

The members of Guild Relations shall schedule all guild battles, and keep the lines of communication between other guilds open.

The Four Masters:

Master Cleric; Master Mage; Master Arcanist; Master Mentalist

The Four Masters will act as Council to the GuildMaster and Master to the Members. Therefor the Masters will be responsible for giving tactics, strategies, and answer questions that are class related to members with characters of the same class. As such, if someone wanted to know which worked better, Wounding I or Wounding II they would ask the Master Cleric and so on. If the master cannot answer a question he or she must attempt to find out by either asking the GuildMaster, an OP, or checking out other sources of information, etc.. Obviously in order to hold a masters position one must have great knowledge of that class. This does not mean you must be a level 20 to hold a masters position, it wouldn't hurt but it not a requirement. Each master shall have individual duties once the guild grows in order to keep a smooth operation no matter how many members we have. They will be outlined later.

Guild Membership:

In order to keep a high quality of attitude and personality in the Guild and to prevent people whom cannot aspire to our standards from entering the Guild these rules will be followed:

1) In order to even be considered for membership at least 2 members must have nominated you. Or you can be recommended by the Guild Master or Guild Master's Assistant, they are able to grant immediate membership.

2) You must then go to our registration page and register yourself. It will be reviewed by the Guild Master and the Guild Master's Assistant. You should hear from one of us soon after.

3) If you are made an official member you will start out at the rank of Apprentice, after 2 weeks you are able to apply for other Member ranks.

TeamWork During Regular Play

Members should always try to get on the same team as other members, as long as it does not cause you to Stack. TeamWork is an essential part of Tournies and therefor should be practiced frequently. Occasionally when several members are on we will do Private games to help with TeamWork and Communication.

The Duelists Elite Official Tag

The Tag, added to the end of a characters name, allows members and other players to easily identify members of Duelists Elite. The Official Tag is _DE. The only way to get this tag is to tell the GM or AGM. They will then schedule a tag meeting on the tag callendar on the official Magestorm website, www.travin.com/ms.

Duelists Elite Roster:

The roster will be maintained by the webmaster, MWI. Any character who wishes to have a guild tag and participate in tourneys must be on this roster. All changes to the roster must be reported ASAP, but to better organize things I've made a level form on the roster. If you level go to it, fill out the information and I will make the changes as soon as possible. Repeat this step as many times as you need to.

Duelists Elite Meetings:

There shall be regularly scheduled meetings for the councils only,(High Council, War Council, Masters) every week or every other week. Everyone will be required to attend at least two meetings every 2 months. If you happen to miss more than 2 meetings in 2 months then your council membership shall be revoked. There will not be regularly scheduled meetings for regular members unless big issues come up and we need to talk with everyone.

War Council:

The War Council will have one seat for each class. There will be a Tourney for each class where only characters of that class may compete. The first 1 hour game will determine the Top 4. They will then play 2 more 20 minute games...1st place vs. 4th place and 2nd place vs. 3rd place. The two winners will then go on to the finals where they will have 1 30 minute game. This council will represent the best of Duelists Elite and has no administrative duties attached.

Seargent at Arms-TBD

The Seargent at Arms is represented by the most highly skiled member of Duelists Elite. This rank shall be decided by a series of tournaments in which all members will compete. The winner of this tournament will be crowned the Seargent at Arms. If there is anyone that fells they are more skilled and should have the position they can challenge the Seargent at Arms to a 1 on 1 Duel in which the winner shall be crowned the Seargent at Arms.
